How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your MyStoryVerse account and all associated data in two ways:
- In the app (recommended): Open the MyStoryVerse app → Profile → Settings → Delete Account and follow the confirmation prompts.
- By email: Send a deletion request to support@mystoryverse.online with the subject line
Delete My Account. Include the email address associated with your account.
If you choose the in-app option, deletion begins immediately when you confirm. If you use email, we typically process requests within 3 business days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When your account is deleted, we will remove the following:
- Account details (name, email, username, profile information)
- Your stories, posts, and comments
- Uploaded media (images, audio, video)
- Any user-generated metadata directly tied to your account
Data That May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for legitimate purposes or legal requirements:
- Technical logs and backups (retained up to 30 days for recovery and security)
- Minimal records required for legal or regulatory compliance (only where legally necessary)
Important: Deletion is permanent. Once your account and associated content are removed, they cannot be restored.
