SorryBank (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a mobile application for emotional expression and forgiveness (“the App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: anonymous username, generated user ID, optional email address.
• Usage data: in-app actions, device type, and timezone.
• Payment data: handled securely by Google Play or App Store. We do not store payment details.
• Diagnostics: anonymized crash logs and performance data.

2. How We Use Data

• To provide and maintain app functionality.
• To manage Peace Points and forgiveness actions.
• To analyze aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage & Deletion

Data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Emotional posts are deleted or archived automatically after 7–14 days to protect user privacy. Users may delete their account at any time via the app or by contacting privacy@sorrybankapp.com.

4. Data Sharing

We never sell or rent your data. We only share information with:

• Service providers (Supabase, analytics, payment platforms) under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Law enforcement if legally required.

5. Security

All communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Despite safeguards, no system is completely secure—use the App responsibly.

6. Children’s Privacy

SorryBank is intended for users aged 16+. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

7. International Use

Data may be processed outside your country. By using SorryBank, you consent to such processing under applicable data laws.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting privacy@sorrybankapp.com.

9. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated version.

Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of Service

SorryBank is a digital emotional platform for sharing apologies and forgiveness. It is not a financial institution and does not handle real money.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use SorryBank.

3. Virtual Peace Points

Peace Points are virtual, have no cash value, and may be earned or purchased via in-app activities.

4. User Responsibilities

• Do not post harmful, hateful, or explicit content.
• Do not impersonate or harass other users.
• Use SorryBank for emotional reflection, not harassment or therapy.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of what you post but grant SorryBank a license to display and process it in the app.

6. In-App Purchases

All payments are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. Purchases are final and subject to store refund policies.

7. Disclaimer

SorryBank is for emotional wellbeing and reflection only — not therapy or professional counseling.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for emotional distress, data loss, or damages arising from the use of the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
